I don't agree. The FluidLayout will continue to work well into the future. Unlike Muse which produces insanely horrible code that's impossible to work with, FGLayouts code is pretty straightforward -- providing you understand basic media queries.

I'm not suggesting it won't work but using any 3rd party add-on results in the user not understanding how the code works which means when/if DW drops fluid grid in favour of something else there might not be a way to alter the code, apart from manually.
Where possible I always try and write the code manually myself. Understanding and writing responsive media queries is not that difficult. You have full control over what is written and understand what it does rather than leaving it to a program.
Look at how many people are troubled by the removal of the Server Behaviours (including myself at first) which no one thought would happen. A great percentage of those people become dependent on a solution that no longer was up to the job and Adobe didn't bother to update them but dropped them altogether. The fact is they wrote trash code using dozens of lines where 2 or 3 would have done the job had those people spent a few hours learning some simple mysql/php. Similar happened with Spry. It will happen with fluid grids at some stage.
DW is a great html editor but to put all your eggs in one basket is asking for trouble in my opinion.
