Dear Sunny,

We truly appreciate your suggestion, thank you. As you are aware, we, as writers, have very few time to spare in doing this kind of things: templates. We strongly recommend you, with all respect, that consider adding those US TV templates (Sitcoms and Dramas) in a future release of Adobe Story.

We are professionals and find those templates pretty useful in Celtx or Final Draft, even in the very same BBC site. So, must of us are giving a try to Adobe Story. And this lines are positive comments. I like Story, a lot, but formatting it´s everything to producers. Why I should spend time doing that instead or refining my dialogs or creating better log-lines?

Why did you decided (in a meeting) to not include US TV Templates? You have German templates in Beta. Only you know the answer to that one. Could Adobe Story be a Game Changer? Could, yes. But why Photoshop is number one in its field? Because we don´t have to download extra things like with Gimp. Simple. In Story it´s ok to make templates of our own shows, good, but make a template in Celtx or Final Draft and then imported into Story? Seriously? Just because is not available by default?

We want to help you to create a better product, a NUMBER ONE product. That´s it. In order to do that, you app should do everything better than their competitors, like Photoshop does.

I use index cards a lot and you don´t have them. I use the Lean Forward Moment technique-by Norman Hollyn, and I do that with Index cards, so. I want to help you to make Adobe Story to be THE APP for screenwriting, that’s it.  Don´t get me wrong.

Best regards,

Ray
