I can expand the folder tree but I only get to see very few folders. Most of these folders have nothing in them, or as few as 3 pictures. Only one folder present me with lots of pictures, thousands in fact. Some of the so called folders aren't folders at all just a DVD & Blu-ray burner.
Now the strange thing is if I click on a tag listed on the right panel nothing happens at all. If I then use the Find By File name feature & enter the same name that appeared in the tag List I get a lot of pictures that correspond to that tag. Whether or not what comes up that way is the same as what just clicking on the tag is the same or not I have no way of knowing.
When I used the Find command I'm not sure if it pulled up that list of pictures that referred to the pictures caption or to the original tag put on them. For instance clicking on the tag called Portugal produces nothing at all.
If I do a Find Portugal search I get a list of pictures that were taken in Portugal. These pictures were all taken in Lisbon. None of the pictures taken elsewhere come up under Portugal search.
These pictures have tags on them already & the tags say Portugal even though Portugal doesn't appear in any of these pictures names which appear under each thumbnail. If I drag these picture to the tags nothing happens.
I can select all pictures from a search & create an album with the same name. Since the Portugal search only looked for Portugal tags It missed other places in the country other than Lisbon, so I have to do a search of the other places as well & then drag then into the same album.
It seems as if the tag list on the right is virtually useless & can only be used as a guide for what File Searches you would have to make & then make each search into an album.
And even if I get all these new album created how do I get the People tags to work? I used to be able to click a place & a person & get to see only those picture that correspond to both tags?
